Kim King Associates, alongside partner Wayne Mason, acquired the former Gold Club property with plans for an upscale condominium and retail redevelopment. The redevelopment plan was ultimately halted by the 2008 financial crisis, and the property was returned to the lender through a deed in lieu of foreclosure.
